💡 Main takeaway:
Against Arsenal, Tottenham showed their progress both on and off the ball.
They were winning duels in midfield, Kathenka Tandberg was winning possession in attack, and summer signing Toko Kouga was once again a rock in defence.
They showed courage when they won the ball back, were not afraid to take on a Champions League winning Arsenal side and were smart to see the game through later.
Their rivals were in a slump – they had not won any of their past three matches in all competitions – but Spurs were still underdogs and played as if they were not.
He stressed: “In any match we play now, we have to be able to compete. I do not want us to be a team that falls outside the top three teams.”
“I’m enjoying it now. Sometimes you have to check yourself and see how far you’ve come. But you have to stay on track.”
He added: “There are a lot of expectations about Tottenham because we know last year that we were not where we wanted to be.”
The disappointment of last season, where Tottenham finished second with 20 points, is still fresh in people’s minds.

Ho admits January recruitment will be important, as they look to add depth to the squad and continue to progress.
They hope that by achieving more results like this match against Arsenal, they can also grow the fanbase and attract more followers.
“We want to add different profiles and add the parts that we are missing at the moment,” Ho said.
“If we want to be a top team and compete in all competitions, we have to add depth to the squad.
“If we want more fans to come and watch our matches, we have to put on more shows like this.
“Fans don’t ask for perfection, they just ask for energy, work rate, desire – when you do that you will bring more fans to the ground more often.”
