💡 **What You’ll Learn**:
Vitaly Janlet (Brentford): he Obviously he scored a goal – with a brilliant header – but I actually thought he was the best player on the pitch in the 3-2 win over Newcastle. I agree with Jordan Henderson in the sense that he should have been awarded Man of the Match but he played well, kept things simple, broke the game up, and got forward when he needed to. Really solid midfield performance.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United): What a difference a manager makes – to be free, to get on the ball, to go wherever he wants, to be creative. I think Michael Carrick deserves a lot of credit for that but again, another goal for him against Tottenham, another win for United – he has to come on.
Ryan (Bournemouth): He was impressive in the draw with Aston Villa. We have to look at Lucas Digne defensively but everything he did, he moved forward with speed, power and directness. He caused problems all day long. He’s a big, strong lad who gets his team up the pitch and attacks the opposition – and Deeney had no answers for him.
Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool): We’d put him in 10th place even though he played as a right-back, but when you score a goal like that you’re there. Incredible free-kick against Manchester City in pure style to cut the ball swinging from left to right and leave Donnarumma stranded.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea): Making his first start under Liam Rosenior, he talked about getting back to fitness. He loses some points because he was against a very bad Wolves team. No matter how great it is, hat-tricks, goals, penalties, confidence. The most important thing is that he’s smiling again – that’s great for Chelsea and great for England, so he deserves it, as does Rosengour, because he gave it to him.
