Igor Thiago (Brentford): He was excellent, performed really well for Brentford, and he did so again in the win over Newcastle. He was signed two years ago and took some time to adjust to injury, but with the departures of Ivan Toney and Brian Mbwemu, he has filled the gap. Emi Buendia (Aston Villa): Someone coming back from a long-term injury, begins to find his feet. We thought he might be on his way out but he seems to be improving for Villa, another goal and a great free-kick. He is developing into a top-class player and is really important for Villa.
