Psychotherapy, 6.35am and 8.30pm, premieres on Sky Cinema
Or, to use the full part of the title, Psychotherapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decides to Write About a Serial Killer. Turkish director Tolga Karaçelik’s English-language debut is an absurdly twisted black comedy. John Magaro plays a novelist struggling to write a story about a serial killer. He then befriends a real-life serial killer (played by Steve Buscemi) who is mistaken for a marriage counselor by his wife (Severance’s Brett Lauer). To say things are escalating would be a severe understatement. A hidden gem of a movie. Stuart Heritage
