Her huge adventure begins on the Isle of Wight, before making her way to Rosslyn Church in Scotland, which featured in the book and film The Da Vinci Code. On her quest, she investigates the legends of Joseph of Arimathea, King Arthur, and the Knights Templar, and discovers an unusual artifact. Holly Richardson

An on-screen note at the beginning of Dominik Moll’s immersive true crime drama reveals that it’s based on an unsolved murder, so don’t expect any shocking unmasking at the end. This is very similar to David Fincher’s Zodiac Lines, where the hunt for the killer of Clara, a young woman from a small town in the French Alps, oscillates between revelation and frustration. Bastien Bouillon plays the newly appointed lead detective, Johan, who struggles to make progress on the case as each of Clara’s unsavory lovers raises suspicions. Simon Wardle
