This competition unfolds throughout the week, as 10 strangers are released into the woods and set different challenges. hunting? They begin each day as either prey or predator, so a free-form game of hide-and-seek also begins as the prey tries to escape captivity. But if you’re still a predator at the end of the day, you’re up against The Cull! There are traces of elements of many previous shows in this absurd mixture of strategy, physical prowess and greed (£100,000 awaits the winner) but soon tensions mount enough to provide reckless, guilty pleasure. At 10.15pm on ITV1

Bentham residents lived with firefighting foam. Parents remember their children playing with clouds of it as it swept through the streets from the headquarters of the main employer in the small Yorkshire town, Angus Fire, which made it. This somber but essential documentary explores the consequences – the foam contains Pfas (“forever chemicals”) and Bentham is polluted. The health effects on people living in the city are detailed in excruciating detail. pH
