Claudia Winkelmann Show

10.40pm, on BBC One
It’s time for Claudia to take her rightful place as the queen of chatbots. Expect the same vibe as The Graham Norton Show (they share the same product) with more fake tan and eyeliner. Her first guests are celebrities who always have a good story up their sleeves: Jeff Goldblum, Vanessa Williams, Jennifer Saunders, and Tom Allen. Additionally, it promises to engage audiences at home and in the studio as well. Holly Richardson

The world of gardeners

8pm on BBC Two
Spring sunshine calls for a new green-fingered series with Monty Don. First on the list: growing berries and growing dahlias. Elsewhere, Adam Frost has moved into his home and started tackling his new garden, and Arete Anderson is at the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. Human resources

Death in heaven

9pm, BBC One
The sunny crime is enhanced by the occasional appearance of Gary Wilmot as the arrogant and arrogant St Mary’s journalist Anton. He and his adorable bowtie get plenty of screen time in this typically twisty installment as De Mervyn and the team investigate the poisoning of a suffering aunt from a newspaper. Graeme Virtue

It’s all over with the Real Housewives of this immersive wildlife series filmed in Botswana. Last week, we learned that the dominant big-toed male lion has a whole other pride on his side. Now the females and cubs of the Xudum pride are spread across the Okavango Delta with no one to protect them. Can they find each other again? JV

The Materialists (Céline’s Song, 2025), 8.35am, 8pm, premiere at Sky Cinema
Celine Song’s follow-up to Past Lives has a superficially similar setup of a woman caught between two men – one of whom is from her past. But here the focus of Lucy, Dakota Johnson’s upscale matchmaker in Manhattan, is on whether to choose love with her ex-husband — penniless actor/bartender John (Chris Evans) — or marriage to busy financier Harry (Pedro Pascal). There are plenty of quotable lines on the issue of dating and marriage, and the three stars are very photogenic, while Lucy’s dilemma is ripe for heated debate after viewing. Simon Wardle

Girl (Adora Onashile, 2023), At 11pm on BBC Two
This remarkable debut feature from Adura Onashile is a sensitive portrait of immigrant life, and the weight of history that many experience. Night cleaner Grace (the extraordinary Deborah Lukomwina) lives in a Glasgow apartment building with her 11-year-old daughter, Ama (Lishanti Bonsu), but past trauma has left her distrustful of the outside world, agoraphobic, and overprotective of her child. However, Amma has a youthful desire for new experiences, and finds a friend in her ditzy neighbor Fiona (Leana Turner). Southwest
