House built by George Clark
8pm on Channel 4
The famous architect returns to meet people undertaking massive construction projects for strong personal reasons. It began in Derbyshire, where couple Lauren and Lee inherited an old cottage from Lauren’s beloved grandparents in Matlock Bath. It’ll need a complete remodel of rooms and a lot of wall tearing out — but is it connected to the home enough to commit to such a huge project? Holly Richardson
Spain with Michael Portillo
8pm on Channel 5
An old-fashioned tram ride, almond farming and a little eating are all on Portillo’s itinerary when he arrives in Mallorca, starting in Palma. It then turns north near Tramuntana Mountains, where it feeds on an open sandwich called Bambooli and Ensaymada, Jewish pastries. Human resources

Sugar Babies faces the dangerous, if potentially lucrative, market for children’s stories and audiobooks, an area in which reputations are either skyrocketing—or canceled out. What score will the team that enjoys disgusting humor get? And will their rival camp’s story about zebras win them their stripes? Ali Catterall
Dragon’s lair
8pm, BBC One
Would you use skincare products made from waste tomato and orange ketchup? A former member of Team Charlotte Tilbury and part-time professional psychic, Danielle is convincing (and glowing) in today’s premiere. Plus, former footballer Gary Neville, hungry for more action, returns as a guest star as Dragon. Human resources
Ben Vogel: A New Life in the Wild
9pm on Channel 5
There is a very simple tragedy in the story of Dave, who lives alone on a boat near Macclesfield, Cheshire: he moved there after the sudden loss of his wife 10 years ago and his grief is still palpable. Ben gently distills the story of a man who uses nature to recover from a lot of bad luck. Jack Seale
FBI
9pm, Sky Witness
Season 7 of the Dick Wolf drama had an action-packed finale, and there’s no let up in this new series opener, as a New York field office tracks a missing federal judge to a remote island, where an armed militia has usurped the local government. Can Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto) handle his increasing responsibilities? Ellen E. Jones

Ella McKay (James L. Brooks, 2025) Disney+
The return to directing of James L. Brooks (Terms of Endearment, Broadcast News) after 15 years is cause for celebration, as is Emma Mackey’s lead role in Sex Education. This comedy-drama about an idealistic 34-year-old (Mackey) thrust into the role of state governor may not be as good as in either of their careers, but the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis (as Ella’s sharp-tongued aunt) and Woody Harrelson (as her estranged father) give the film some much-needed comedic verve. Simon Wardle
The name is Lee Lound (Edward Lovelace, 2022) 2:50 a.m., Channel 4
Director Edward Lovelace’s deeply moving documentary attempts to give hearing viewers an insight into the world of the deaf, while exploring the trauma faced by asylum seekers. Lownd is a young Iraqi Kurdish man who comes to the UK and studies at the Royal School for the Deaf in Derby. Muffled voices, silence, and captions add depth to the story he and his family tell about his struggle to adapt to a new life and learn to communicate — especially since his parents will never learn sign language. Their fight against deportation comes down to how well Lound is doing in school, which adds to the pressure this attractive and hopeful child feels. Southwest
