6.05pm, BBC One

Alan Carr has risen to national treasure status over the course of this game show’s evolution, but now in his fourth series, it’s good to know he hasn’t forgotten his roots. What we have is essentially a revamped version of the glossy basic Catchphrase as teams compete to spot a screen full of £10,000 worth of images on the line. The top contenders come from London, South Wales and Motherwell. Phil Harrison

Alexander Armstrong Across America

In the concluding part of the presenter’s futile journey across the United States, he arrives in Florida. There he unearths some interesting artifacts, explores the legacy of Miami’s cocaine boom and meets a former Maga supporter who explains why he has lost confidence in Donald Trump. pH

8.20pm, BBC One

Miles from Holby’s emergency department, paramedic Dylan sits in his beat-up Land Rover and prepares for a difficult family reunion. Back at base, the emotional story about toxic waste causing serious health problems on a local estate sees Nurse Judy preparing to take on the council. Graeme Virtue

In the alternate history of this gritty French drama, a secret cadre of super-soldiers fought in World War I. The latest double bill calls for guards to be given some down time after they capture a German spy – but it increasingly looks as if the other side has a massive armored commando of its own. JV

TOTP: The Story of 2001

At 11pm on BBC Two

There are a lot of entrants to the world of TOTP in this latest delightful nostalgia fest. It’s the year of rock, with the likes of Vedder and the Dandy Warhols in the studio. But 2001 also welcomed a new breed of music to the UK: So Solid Crew were breaking out in the UK garage scene, which would become increasingly influential. pH

Wicked Little Letters, 9pm, Channel 4

When poisonous anonymous letters are sent to seaside town resident Edith (Olivia Colman), suspicion falls on her neighbor Rose (Jessie Buckley), a single Irish mother with a vocal feminist stance. There’s something inherently funny about cursing Coleman, and Thea Sharrock’s 1920s comedy deals with the insults as the writer’s vitriol extends to the entire community. Behind the curtain-raiser is a cautionary tale about bullying and oppression, but watching Coleman and Buckley go through it is almost enough in itself. Simon Wardle

Jurassic Park, 10.50pm on ITV1

A huge loss to cinema… Sam Neill in Jurassic Park on ITV1. Photo: Universal/Allstar

The recent death of Sam Neill is a huge loss to cinema, but he was so prolific that there will always be a good-to-great film about him to keep his memory alive. The first film to appear after his death is his most famous work – Steven Spielberg’s fun family sci-fi adventure. Neil plays a paleontologist invited to his island by industrialist Richard Attenborough to study dinosaurs he revived through DNA trickery. What could go wrong? Finely balanced between wonder and danger, it is the ultimate crowd pleaser. Southwest
