Handcuffed: Last pair standing
9pm on Channel 4
How would you feel to be handcuffed in front of a man who proudly has a painting of Hitler hanging on his wall? What if it meant winning £100,000? Here comes another demonstration of a controversial real-life challenge thinly disguised as a social experiment to bring together complete opposites in a divisive society. In the bizarre Blind Date format, Jonathan Ross’s not-so-matched couples are then handcuffed and set off on a road trip around the UK to do everything – including showering – together. The first couples include a body-inclusive feminist and gym buddy, a millionaire janitor, and a working-class historian who has to answer for that painting. Holly Richardson

9pm, Sky Atlantic
Fresh from the fallout from Lily Allen’s album about her messy open marriage with David Harbour, here’s her soon-to-be ex-husband starring in a dark comedy-drama about a married man who discovers an app for strangers who are “ready to have sex”… Oh! Linda Cardellini plays his equally bored wife, and Jason Bateman plays the friend to whom he introduces the app, which certainly ramps things up. Human resources
The silent witness

The two-part finale in the final season of Oxfordshire Forensic Pathology involves the apparent suicide of a young British-Chinese activist found floating in a river. But why does Dr. Nikki (Emilia Fox) face so many obstacles from Sean Gilder De Casey? Phil Harrison
Amnesty International Confidential with Hannah Fry
9pm on BBC Two
In March 2018, a driverless Uber car struck a pedestrian in Arizona at 39 mph. “By the time Rafaela Vasquez looked up, it was too late.” In her first TV interview, Vazquez spoke to Fry, who also learned about the systemic flaws of AI and the (potentially deadly) corporate pressures driving the technology. Minor Prophets
10pm on BBC Two
A mountain of dung has been delivered and Michael is ready to bury the monkey jars to make them grow. As he sits and waits with a beer, he opens up to his new friend Kacey about the life he had with Clea. Meanwhile, Neighbor Biff is desperate to participate. More magic and laughter from Mackenzie Crook’s quirky comedy. Human resources
industry
10.40pm, on BBC One
Where comparisons were once drawn to Cool Britannia’s drama This Life, as Industry reaches the end of its gripping fourth season, it feels more like a succession. Henry (Kit Harington) realizes how badly Tender is behaving, but will Whitney (Max Minghella) take one last offer? Hannah J. Davis

Everlasting Love, 1.30am, Movie 4
Scientific academic Joe (Daniel Craig) and his partner Claire (Samantha Morton), a sculptor, are taking a picnic in a field when a hot air balloon crashes. The subsequent fatal accident sends Joe’s life into a tailspin – out of shock and guilt but also because Jed (Rhys Ifans), another witness to the event, has become fixated on him. Roger Michell’s engaging retelling of Ian McEwan’s novel adds interesting elements to the debate about the nature of love, from the selfish genetic version that Joe shares, to the intuitive, inexplicable version that is at its most extreme in Jed.
