Stand Up to Cancer: Launch

7.30pm on Channel 4
Davina McCall is launching a series of programs focused on the fight against cancer – including a Gogglebox special at 9.10pm with Kieran Culkin, Jaz Charton, Josh Hartnett, Tamsin Egerton, Nick Mohammed and Joe Marler. Before that, there’s a documentary at 8pm from inside the cancer clinic at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, following patients and their families on their journeys through testing, diagnosis and treatment. It aims to provide insight into the clinical and emotional experience of this disease. Phil Harrison

Back to heaven

8pm, BBC One
It is the finale of the second season of Death in Paradise. Trouble occurs at Glen and Daisy’s wedding when one of the guests dies from a fast-acting poison found in the event’s program – sensible stuff. And given that cozy crime shows have now reached the level of affairs of stars like Ludwig, is there still a place for this franchise? Alexey Duggins

Global winter offers for gardeners

8pm on BBC Two
There is a lot to do in the Winter Garden if you know where to look. Adam Frost and friends will show the way in this helpful update. Adam repairs the roof, cleans the nest box, and plants beans. Meanwhile, Rekha Mistry visits a dedicated community area in Sheffield. pH

This docu-series takes an unusual focus on the all-encompassing luxury of the Four Seasons’ Mayfair location at Christmas. While head chef Benjamin selects the best cheeses London has to offer, Ruth fears her Christmas tree – as delivered by 10 men – is too big. Hannah J. Davis

It’s all her fault

9pm, Sky Atlantic
This brilliant and compelling thriller begins where most series end: with the return of the missing child. But for Marissa, the mystery deepens. Meanwhile, Jenny realizes that she bears a great deal of the blame. Ellen E. Jones

Father issues

9.35pm, BBC One
Although the father-daughter on-screen experience is down for Amy Lou Wood and David Morrissey, this parenting comedy remains a charming show. This week, Gemma (Wood) is puzzled by children’s entertainer Rocky (“I’m not sure it was entirely necessary for him to be naked during the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star show…”) HJD
