Next Christmas is expected to witness the release of the third part of the space opera trilogy by Denis Villeneuve, based on the classic novels of Frank Herbert. If #2 is anything to go by, it should be worth the wait. Amidst stunning effects and complex plotting, it’s a terrifying story about the power and faith that subvert the best intentions. Paul is Christ, but he’s also a very naughty boy. Simon Wardle
