Two weeks in August
9pm, BBC One
The frenetic and funny holiday drama from hell starring the excellent Jessica Reign ends with another double bill. Nothing in this show is understated and the finale is no exception. Zoe disappeared, and when things couldn’t get any worse, a massive fire threatened the island. Very silly fun and very good. Phil Harrison
The Royal Family: Uncensored
5.05pm, Channel 5
After millions of views on YouTube, journalists Katie Nicholl and Joe Elvin are taking their analysis of the monarchy to a wider platform, bringing the scoop from the palace to the public. This royal show features exclusive gossip viewers can’t seem to get anywhere else, and is launched with a live appearance from Piers Morgan. Nicole Vasil
Celebrity Bridge of Lies
5.20pm, BBC One
“Truth – or lies?!” It’s the question that returns to Ross Kemp’s lips again and again in this repetitive but harmless daytime quiz. This celebrity gig, at least, is in aid of charitable causes, with Rosie Jones, Harriet Kemsley, Nabil Abdul Rashid, and Ed Byrne all playing for their chosen charities. Hannah J. Davis
Alexander Armstrong Across America
8pm on Channel 5
The best travel guides manage to pull off the odd surprise. So when Alexander Armstrong arrives in Philadelphia and immediately rushes out to buy a cheesesteak, it’s hard not to fear the worst. However, as this American epic unfolds, Armstrong remains an affable host, even if at times he doesn’t feel quite right for the material (see his journey into the opioid-related horrors of downtown Kensington). He’s on safer ground with a trip to the rowing club. pH
40 Glastonbury gems
8.10pm, BBC2
And with no festival this year, the BBC has a Glastonbury-shaped hole to fill its mid-summer schedules. This fun clip show revisits some of Worthy Farm’s most memorable moments – so expect Radiohead, Stormzy, Kylie, Pulp, Lizzo, Paul McCartney and dozens more. pH
Goolagong
9pm on BBC Four
An informative but illuminating three-part biography of Australian indigenous tennis legend Yvonne Goolagong ends with Yvonne (Lily McGuire) facing momentous life events. Her father died while she was marrying Roger, so will she have to sacrifice her career? It is suggested that the male player would not face this question. pH
