Tyler Glasnow and Megan Murphy tied the knot in a stunning, fairytale-inspired beachside wedding

What started as a story of exchanging numbers on a baseball field received a fantasy update on Sunday, as Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Tyler Glasnow and Megan Murphy tied the knot in what appeared to be a beachside wedding.

On Sunday, Meghan shared snaps of their wedding celebrations from the beach. The couple exchanged vows in a beachside ceremony. Meghan wore a flowing white dress and veil, while she stood side by side with Glasnow, who wore a light suit with white sneakers.

The night before their wedding, the couple was seen enjoying the fireworks from a distance. The celebration continued as guests gathered in the infinity pool to watch the stunning sunset.

Earlier, several publications reported that Tyler Glasnow and Megan Murphy will tie the knot after the season ends. Last month, Glasnow won his second straight World Series with the Dodgers.

The romantic story of Glasnow and Megan Murphy was directly inspired by the film. In 2021, while Glasnow was with the Tampa Bay Rays, he spotted Murphy in the stands. He asked his teammate to zoom in, wrote his phone number on a baseball, and tossed it to her, assuming she would text him back. Instead, the next day, Megan returned the ball to the pitcher, gave her number and asked him to text her.

Since then, their relationship has grown between them which received a major update over the weekend.

Furthermore, during a podcast interview with Chris Rose in March, Tyler Glasnow surprised Chris Rose by revealing that he got engaged in August last year.

“She’s my fiancée now, too,” Glasnow said on The Chris Rose Rotation podcast. “It happened a while ago. Yes, it happened in August last year, and then we’re getting married next November. There’s a lot of things going on.”

Glasnow then revealed his future goals.

“Thank you, buddy,” Glasnow said. “Yes, I was nervous when I did it, but it was so much fun. I’m glad we did it. Now we’re just planning everything for the future, we got the wedding, then life, then kids, and all that stuff.”

Now the couple will start the year 2026 as official husband and wife.
