Forest are fourth at the bottom of the Premier League, just three points above the relegation zone, and Forest’s main aim is to stay at the top.

However, an extension to their first European season since 1995-96 would boost confidence at a club that has twice won the European Cup under Brian Clough.

Forest, who host Fenerbahce in the second leg at the City Ground on Thursday, February 26 (20:00 GMT), have become strong favorites to reach the round of 16, where they will face either Midtjylland or Real Betis.
