Allen was not in attendance at the Golden Globe Awards with his wife due to his postseason schedule with the Bills. They qualified for the playoffs after finishing the regular season in second place behind the Patriots in the AFC East with a 12-5 record.
On Sunday, Josh Allen and the Bills faced off against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Everbank Stadium in the playoff round. The 2024 NFL MVP helped his team earn a 27-24 win and advance to the divisional round. The quarterback completed 28 of 35 passes for 273 yards and three total touchdowns.
In the postgame press conference, Bills coach Sean McDermott praised Allen and his contribution to the team on the field.
“When your quarterback is that type of warrior, that type of competitor, like I said from a leadership standpoint, it runs through the whole team,” McDermott said.
Allen had injury concerns during the matchup against the Jaguars. However, the midfielder later took it as a minor inconvenience before returning to the field and securing the win.

Skip Bayless praised Josh Allen after the Bills’ Wild Card win
In the fourth quarter, it looked like the Jaguars were going to pull out the win after Trevor Lawrence scored on a 14-yard TD pass with just four minutes left in the game. However, Josh Allen has not given up hope.
With one minute on the clock, Bills midfielder scored the game-winning goal while Matt Prater sealed the win with an extra-point conversion. After the game, Skip Bayless took to social media to praise Allen.
“Josh Allen sets the tone for the Bills: quit, get the guts up, fight through the injuries, keep fighting no matter how bad it looks, just keep making games. What an impressive win that was against a talented team in Jacksonville,” Bayless tweeted.
This season, Allen has recorded 3,668 yards and 25 TDs while rushing for 579 yards and 14 TDs. Can he still make his first Super Bowl appearance with the Bills?
