Rollins said her administration cannot unleash emergency funds to ensure SNAP food aid is not cut off on Saturday.
Even if it were possible, the money would barely cover the program’s costs, she said.

A lawsuit to force the administration to release the funds is now pending.
Speaking at a news conference with Johnson at the Capitol, she blamed Democrats for a “disgusting dereliction of duty” as they refuse to reopen aid and withhold health care money.
