Watch: Nicki Minaj says she is Trump’s number one fan and will not allow him to be bullied

Rapper Nicki Minaj claimed she is President Donald Trump’s biggest fan during a US Treasury Department event in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, saying she and his supporters would not allow him to be bullied.

“I’m probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change,” she said. “Hate, or what people say, doesn’t affect me at all.” It actually motivates me to support him more.”

She added: “We will not let them get away with bullying him and smear campaigns. It will not work.” “He has a lot of strength behind him, and God is protecting him.”

Minaj spoke at an event held to mark the upcoming launch of children’s investment accounts known as “Trump Accounts.” As part of a pilot program, the federal government is depositing $1,000 into an investment account for each eligible child born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028.

Minaj, a former Trump critic who said in 2020 that she “will not jump on the Trump bandwagon,” pledged to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to help fund Trump’s accounts.
