President Donald Trump arrived in Türkiye on Tuesday to attend the NATO summit and was received by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a ceremony shortly after.

Earlier, Erdogan was waiting for Trump on the blue carpet as he got off Air Force One. They shook hands and Trump pressed Erdogan’s shoulder.
Erdogan was wearing sunglasses while taking photos under the bright sun.
He then tapped and squeezed Trump’s arms, and they walked the carpet together, inspecting Turkish troops, with Erdogan gently guiding Trump by the arms at times.
They made no comments to reporters, but Trump can be heard speaking to Erdogan and his wife about the new plane he is using as Air Force One.
