Bolin, ranked 84th in the world, defeated Chris Wakelin, ranked 13th, 4-3, to reach the second round.
The same result befell Elliot Slessor, whose 21st place in the world rankings meant little with Craigie, 89th, leading the way.
There was no surprise in the final two matches on Tuesday, with Stuart Bingham beating Gao Yang 4-2, and Kyren Wilson beating Hongyu Liu 4-1.
