Windham Clark separates from long-time caddy John Ellis: Report

A shocking development has emerged regarding PGA Tour pro Wyndham Clark. According to a recent report, Clark has parted ways with his longtime bearer, John Ellis. Furthermore, Clarke also found an experienced replacement for the outgoing Ellis.

On X (formerly Twitter), Matt Gannon first reported that Clarke and Ellis had broken up. According to Gannon, Dave Belicuda will now take over for Clark for the foreseeable future. Belicuda has held Ellis’ position in the past, meaning he has experience working with Clark.

Gannon’s tweet read:

“Long-time partners, US Open winners Wyndham Clark and John Ellis have parted ways. Wyndham will have Dave Belicuda (aka Big Wave Dave) on the bag for the foreseeable future. Dave has filled in for Ellis in the past and has spoken with several pros in his tenure.”

The reason Clark and John Ellis’ split is so shocking is because Ellis has been by Clark’s side since he turned pro in 2017. Together, Clark and Ellis have three professional victories, including the major championship, the 2023 US Open.
