Wolves The English team signed both Marseille midfielder Angel Gomez and striker Adam Armstrong from Southampton.
Gomez joins on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy for £6 million.
Striker Armstrong moves for an initial fee of £7m on a three-and-a-half-year contract after striker Jurgen Strand Larsen was sold to Crystal Palace for £48m also on deadline day.
Wolverhampton occupies last place in the English Premier League, 18 points behind the safety zone, and is planning for expected relegation to the championship.
Boss Rob Edwards said: “He is [Gomes] And I’ve been talking for the past few weeks. I explained to him what we wanted to do and that we would love to have him here and how he could help us.
He added: “He’s really excited to play in England and it’s really exciting for us to have someone who is hungry to be here and wants to show everyone how good he is.”

Gomez began his career at Manchester United and played 10 matches before joining Lille in 2020, where he played 126 matches and scored 10 goals.
He joined Marseille last summer and scored four goals in 19 matches, leaving Roberto De Zerbi’s side in third place in the French League.
He made his England debut against Ireland in 2024 and has four caps.
