US Soccer Federation President Cindy Barlow Cone said of the joint bid:, external “Together, we have an extraordinary opportunity to host the largest and most impactful Women’s World Cup in history, one that will inspire a new generation of fans and help grow women’s football across our region and around the world.
“We are excited to drive the lasting progress of women’s football by creating a legacy that reaches far beyond 2031 and sets a new global standard for the sport.”
CONCACAF is the association football association of North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Confederation President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani added: “CONCACAF fully supports this four-way bid, which embodies our One CONCACAF philosophy.
