Australia may be unbeaten, but they have not started this tournament on a smooth note, with individual performances getting their attacking line-up out of trouble in their opening matches.
They slumped to 128-5 in their first match against New Zealand before Ash Gardner scored 115 from the sixth over to drag them to a total their opponents could not follow.
Wren’s encounter with Sri Lanka saw the match end without a ball being bowled, before Beth Mooney acted as a savior against Pakistan, smashing 109 to lift Australia from 76-7 to 221-9.
When India scored 330 on Sunday, the seven-time world champions faced them again, but Healy set a record, with three other players scoring more than 40 to put Australia in their familiar position as a dominant force.
The bowlers looked strong throughout the competition and overwhelmed the Bangladesh batsmen in this match, with Alana King picking up 2-18 as four from the attack took a pair of wickets.
Healy then stepped up, scoring back-to-back centuries in a World Cup for the second time after achieving the feat against England and the West Indies in 2022.
The 35-year-old, who could be playing her final year of international cricket, has taken her side to the semi-finals once again in the tournament, and will be keen to continue building momentum in her final matches in the group stage.
Their next opponents? England on Wednesday.
