💡 Here’s what you’ll learn:

Wales have never beaten Bosnia and Herzegovina in any of their four meetings against them.

Craig Bellamy’s side will host Bosnia in the semi-final of the European World Cup qualifiers on 26 March 2026, with the winner then facing the winner of the other Track A semi-final between Italy and Northern Ireland for a place in the 2026 World Cup.

The two teams have met four times, the first of which was in February 2003 in a friendly international match.

That first match ended in a 2-2 draw, with Wales scoring the only two goals in their history against Bosnia.

The second meeting between the two teams was also in an international friendly match in August 2012, which Bosnia won 2-0 at Park i Scarlets Stadium in Llanelli.

Since then, the two teams have met twice more in 2014 and 2015, with both matches played on October 10.

In 2014, the two teams tied 0-0 at Cardiff City Stadium in the qualifiers for the 2016 European Championship.

A year later, Bosnia won 2-0 in Zenica, with Milan Djuric and Vedad Ibisevic both scoring in the last 20 minutes.
