✅ **What You’ll Learn**:
Wrexham have a wealth of options in midfield, hence the club’s decision to allow Andy Cannon – who returns from almost a year out with an anterior cruciate ligament injury – to spend the rest of the season at Burton Albion.
The same goes for back-to-back promotion champions Paul Mullen and Elliot Lee who have joined Bradford City and Doncaster Rovers on loan.
But the final pieces were more of a jigsaw puzzle, with attacking and wing-back options explored.
Following Saturday’s win over Sheffield Wednesday, Parkinson stated that Ryan Hardy will only be allowed to leave if they can find a replacement for the Scot.
Parkinson has watched Siddiqui Sherif in action for French club Angers, although the 19-year-old has joined Turkish giants Fenerbahce on an initial loan deal, with the move set to become permanent in the summer.
But once the first domino fell, Wrexham’s final act was quickly put into place.
The club have agreed deals with Barnsley for Keylor Dane and Sheffield Wednesday for Cadamartiri, paving the way for Hardy to head to Huddersfield Town on loan.
Keylor-Dunne and Cadamartiri will now compete with top scorers Kiefer Moore, in-form Sam Smith and a fit-again Jay Rodriguez for game time.
At full-back, James McClean’s departure to his hometown club Derry City opened up the possibility of recruiting a new wide option.
But even though they haven’t added to that department, Parkinson’s has options.
Liberato Cacace and Issa Kabore are fit again and started together for the first time in nearly three months in the win over Hillsborough.
He also has Ryan Barnett and Ryan Longman at his disposal, while midfielder George Thomason has deployed at left-back impressively at times this season.
Elsewhere, it was a matter of trimming numbers and increasing playing time for key players, as evidenced by the loan moves of Mo Vale and Harry Ashfield to Cheltenham Town.
Jacob Mendy has also secured a permanent move to Peterborough United who have also ended Tom O’Connor’s loan, with the Irishman returning to Wrexham as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
