Wrexham’s ‘top’ team determined to succeed – Ben Schiff

Wrexham returns to league action against Norwich City on Saturday (15:00 GMT) after their impressive victory over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

Parkinson’s men beat Sean Dyche’s side in the Premier League 4-3 on penalties after a 3-3 draw between the sides – and Sheff feels the hosts were deserved winners at Stoke Cay Ras.

“It was definitely a memorable night for the club and I think we deserved to qualify,” Sheff said.

“The atmosphere and the night itself was definitely memorable, so we’re into the next round and looking forward to progressing through the next game as well.”

Wrexham’s reward for eliminating Forest is a fourth-round home fixture against Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town.

“It’s a tough draw. They’re going well in the league at the moment. I think they’ve found their rhythm a little bit,” Schiff added.

“But being at home and having scored here recently, it will definitely give us an advantage. They are a big team, and it will be a difficult game, but we are looking forward to it.”
