WWE Official Ava delivers an ultimatum to the superstar; The main title can be vacated

WWE NXT General Manager, Ava, has been riding a huge wave of momentum on the developmental brand and is handling the roster better than anyone expected of her.

Tonight’s edition saw a big change as many new stars joined NXT after the departure of some big names like Trick Williams, Oba Femi and others.

However, the 24-year-old NXT General Manager will have to adjust his settings and book the show accordingly. Tonight, in a backstage segment, Ethan Paige asked Ava who she would face in the qualifying match for the NXT Championship ladder match.

The GM told Ego that he was not in contention for the title and that she would put him in a match, but before that, he would have to vacate the North American Championship. Page immediately said no to the idea.

Furthermore, Ava announced that since Ethan is now the longest reigning champion in WWE, his title deserves the spotlight, and because of this, he must defend it next week against newcomer Elio LeFleur.

The WWE NXT GM appeared in a big main event

The 2026 Golden Gloves Award Show was recently held, and Ava, the brand’s developmental general manager, made an appearance at the big night to support her father, The Rock, who was nominated in the category for his film released last year and highly appreciated by fans and critics, “The Smashing Machine.”

The 24-year-old Stamford-based promo star posted the best moments of the night on her official Twitter/X account, sharing them with her friend and celebrating with the Final Boss. She also congratulated all the nominees and award winners on the big night in a comment on her post.
