WWE star Shayna Baszler breaks her silence after the shock of Ronda Rousey’s AEW debut at Revolution

Ronda Rousey made her AEW debut at Revolution 2025 in Los Angeles. This appearance marked her return to professional wrestling after two long years. Rousey is also preparing for her return to mixed martial arts with a fight against Gina Carano. The UFC Hall of Famer’s close friend, Shayna Baszler, has reacted to her arrival at All Elite Wrestling.

She faced former Raw Women’s Champion Toni Storm at Revolution. After the appearance, Baszler quickly took over X to send a short message. The Queen of Spades gave a shout out to the Four Horsewomen of mixed martial arts after Rousey’s encounter with Marina Shafir in AEW.

For those who don’t know, the Four Horsemen of MMA consists of Rousey, Baszler, Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke.

Shayna Baszler currently wrestles on the independent circuit and is a coach and guest producer for NXT. Meanwhile, Jessamyn Duke is a gamer and is currently inactive in the combat sports scene. Shafir has been part of The Death Riders since 2024 and is expected to work with Ronda Rousey after they reunite in AEW.

What did Ronda Rousey say after her debut in AEW?

Ronda Rousey entered the AEW ring to face Toni Storm. Following her match against Marina Shafir, Storm was on the ramp when Rousey made her presence felt. The Timeless One stormed the ring to face The Baddest Women on the Planet, but the referees separated them. Shafir eliminated the former AEW Champion before leaving the arena with Rousey to massive boos.

Rousey later took to her Instagram to post a video of Shafir taunting the hostile crowd. In the caption of the post, the UFC Hall of Famer wrote that it was a dream come true for her to “flip” the professional wrestling crowd alongside her best friend.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet also thanked AEW for doing “God’s work” in the professional wrestling industry.
