Eubank vs. Penn 2: Connor Penn defeats Chris Eubank Jr. in a rematch

Connor Benn produced a dominant performance to get revenge on arch rival Chris Eubank Jr and pick up a unanimous decision victory in their rematch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Eubank, who won on points when they first fought in April, looked timid throughout and had no answer to the heavy-handed Ben.

Penn took a huge lead in the final round when he put Eubank up two before triumphantly climbing to the ropes to celebrate when the final bell rang.

The judges scored the score 119-107, 116-110 and 118-108 in favor of Ben.

Ben, who moved two divisions to make this fight, achieved something his father Nigel couldn’t achieve in the 1990s – a win over Eubank.

He has been labeled a brawler throughout his career but proved he has a lot to offer for this win.

Ben, 29, said he was carrying a lot of emotions at the April match after a long period of training that lasted two and a half years after serving a suspension for failing a voluntary drug test.

But he looked calmer this time, returning with a smarter plan, mixing raw aggression with carefully chosen shots to methodically break down the 36-year-old Eubank.
